For our guests newly placed in apartments and for Door of Hope we need cleaning products such as: Pinesol, sponges, mops, brooms, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, dishtowels, scrub brushes, bleach.  Further, our new apartment dwellers need pillows, sheets, towels, and wash rags.  If you have furniture, call us (725-1140) as we need mattresses, dressers, tables, chairs, TVs, lamps, table lamps, and sofas for other planned new apartment set ups.

For individuals we need: underware (M-XXXL)- briefs and boxers, socks, tooth brushes, toothpaste, combs, brushes, t- shirts, belts (M-XXXL), towels, wash clothes. We need regular size and travel sizes of deoderant, lotion, handsoap, shampoo.
We are in need of volunteers to spend time with our guests.  You might end up helping prepare and share in a simple meal or play a game of cards.  Call our Coordinator of Volunteers (725-1140), to learn more.  Look over our Volunter FAQ page for answers to questions regarding volunteering.

Door of Hope has bills just like any other household.  Consider what your donation can do at Door of Hope.  A gift of:
4$3 pays the co-pay for one medication for one month for one guest
4$25 pays for "extras" for the noon meal once a week
4$36 pays for the co-pay for one medication for one guest for a year
4 $60 pays for gas for transportation for 5 to conferences in Nashville
4$70 pays for a room for 2 at an out-of-town conference on homelessness or mental health
4$100 pays the Food Bank bill for a month
4$100 puts a deposit down at MLGW
4$200 pays the phone bill for a month
4$200 puts a deposit down on an apartment
4$1000 pays the rent at Door of Hope for a month
4$5000 pays the insurance for Door of Hope for a year
4$6500 pays for running Door of Hope for a month
